This is mostly due to the fact that, for me at least, the Twitch launcher just seems to run the mod pack a lot better than the FTB launcher does. Second of all, even through the game is called Feed The Beast Presents Sky Factory 3, I decided to use the Twitch launcher instead of the FTB launcher. I’ll probably end up covering Sky Factory 4 in a different review further down the line so don’t worry. Perhaps it’s because 3 is more based around diverse recourse gathering than 4 is, I’m not quite sure. While both are entertaining experiences that certainly add interesting variations to the basic Minecraft experience, I always find myself enjoying Sky Factory 3 more. The first thing I want to cover here is why I chose Sky Factory 3 over Sky Factory 4. I’ve decided to start this series off by reviewing the mod pack that got me interested in mods on a Mac for the first time in years– FTB Presents Sky Factory 3.
